DRIVING - The speed limit is 55 miles per hour on most highways. Where posted, the
freeway speed limit is 65. Oregon law calls for drivers and passengers
to buckle up for safety in both the front and back seats. The fine for
each unbuckled person is $89. Oregon law also requires that drivers
